5/5 - (2 votes)

If you are new to anime but you have no idea about anime. You should see these 50 best anime. The basic essence of action anime is so deep that they have easily reserved their place in the hearts of anime lovers. All these popular anime have excellent graphics and unique stories.

Top Anime Series Of All-Time

1. Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion

This is my favorite anime. As number one, I especially like dubbing over sub. Because the voice in dub is really good and there are no changes in the plot or anything. The most powerful characters , the sensations and the most adorable main character. Some may feel that it is for children with all robots and fighting stuff. But this anime has many mental games and plot twists. In general, you’ll be a fan of lelouch as soon as you see it. Everyone greet Leouch Vi Britannia!

2. One Punch Man

Last fight and humor. I just haven’t seen any anime like this. Like the main character is a bit out of the zone and the plot is biased to keep it under the shadows. Since most people do not know how powerful Saitama is , several things happen on that premise. Although he is the most powerful hero and wants to fight against stronger villains. Really a binge worthy of anime.

3. Hunter x Hunter (2011)

OMG ! This anime has it all. Great fight scenes, character growth, OP punches and for once intelligent enemies. It has different arcs so you can experience many things about it. As if there were an arc where they enter a game, involving several cards with extra powers. One of the best is the Spider Arc, which is a lot of great fights and action. You love this anime for emotion, unpredictability and adorable characters. The mystery is maintained at all times in several things.

4. Detective Conan

This is one of my most initial anime , yes , I saw it even before Death Note. It has many episodes and is still ongoing. This involves a handsome young detective who became a child again and now lives with his pretty girlfriend and his detective father. He solves the cases and credits his good for nothing, Dad. Some arch that implies an important plot will undoubtedly give you goosebumps as a black organization. Each episode is fun to watch and this anime also has many movies.

5. Re: Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu

Wow , wow, wowww . The MC fight you see in this anime is unprecedented. He keeps losing, losing and losing. Cry and come back, then lose again. This anime took the world by surprise and will also take you. Without giving any spoiler, just go see it. Worth every second of your time. Especially if you like the fight and the return of MC.

6. Sword Art Online II

Have you ever wanted to be in a virtual game ? Besides being the most powerful male player too? This anime is the continuation of SAO 1, the last one was a sword fight, but in this one you can enjoy a weapons action. In addition to having fun with the twists of the nervous plot. Must look for mmorpgs fans and virtual games.

7. Boku no Hero Academia

In 2018, hero anime really became popular. One of the best is this. It shows the journey of a child who had no power, but receives a mentor and, due to his willpower, makes things happen. In short, it is quite inspiring, it implies the school environment and many super powers.

8. Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei

Want more OP main character ? That helps many girls but is always straight and a total gentleman ? You settings school ?

The characters do not get more OP than this. If you want to have a lot of feelings, just look at this in one afternoon. The character has few magical abilities but has a level of god in combat and science. He knows everything, fights for the army while going to school with his pretty sister.

9. Akame ga Kill!

Too emotional, because the characters continue to die until there is none left. But amazing music , you’ll still hear music again after the anime ends. The fight scenes are good.

10. Haikyuu !!

Again an inspiring one. The one on the right is that the photo has a small height, but still compensates for it with its speed and crazy jumps. Both overcome their problems and form a super team that wins.

11. Shokugeki no Souma

Kitchen and torn clothes. It’s about eating food out of the world and then tearing off your clothes according to the level of flavor. The characters are very hardworking and work continuously to improve their skills. He has clashes, pretty girls and lots of good food.

12. Shingeki no Kyojin

Imagine humans fighting super acrobatic skills and compressed air equipment giants. It involves a lot of blood, incredible scenes, a twisted plot and much more. You will see this anime 100% again and add it to your favorites. A masterpiece indeed.

13. Tokyo Ghoul

This anime has more a love / hate relationship with me. I saw the first season, it was great. I tried to see more but I couldn’t, the plot can be confusing and few characters were lost in the new season. Many people say that Manga is a work of art, while anime things are too rushed.

14. The Seven Deadly Sins

Let me tell you first “The 7 deadly sins” and “The seven deadly sins” are totally different animes. Yes, 7 or Seven can make a big difference. Here we are talking about ” The seven deadly sins.” This is full of action and has some weird romance too. The MC is overloaded, which only makes this anime more adorable.

15. Kuroko no Basket Popular anime

This is quite similar to “Haikyuu “, if you are a sports anime fan, you can’t miss it. This anime is going to be a roller coaster of happiness and sadness, all this will leave you satisfied. But you will come back to look at him again.

16. Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress

Although, I have to say that one of the best things about this series is how there is no waste of time. Each episode has a purpose, a meaning. New concepts are introduced, explained and executed in a way that does not make you feel that you waste your time watching.

It is an excellent series, probably one of the 5 best so far this year.

17. Ansatsu Kyoushitsu

The anime itself never gets boring. It’s fun, very emotional and even has twists in the plot you didn’t see coming. Has it all. Lovely characters, romance, bloodlust, secrets, tense music. In general, it stays with you.

18. Kiseijuu : Sei no Kakuritsu

Excellent in many ways. Kiseijuu: Sei no Kakuritsu, will you cry sometimes? Deep, with great action, evocative incidental music, incredible plot, deeply touching. Something to wait if you haven’t seen it yet.

19. Boku dake ga Inai Machi

Everything about this anime has a unique atmosphere that you can feel from the first episode. There is never a dull moment in this show since everything happens for a reason. Many people can relate to the situations in the show, since it affects a wide range of education / background of people: abused, rich, poor, lonely, popular, satisfied but lacking, etc.

20 Without game there is no life

No Game No Life is such a fun and extremely well thought out show, the concept is so basic and straightforward that you don’t think it can be represented so well. If your looking for something amazing that you just took out of this world in a fun, fun, amazing trip then your going to love this show.

21. Shigatsu wa Kimi no Use

Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso is a beautiful anime, which expresses many feelings that most of us cannot express with words. It is an interesting anime that will make you anxiously imagine what will happen next; revolves around the life of the piano prodigy Arima Kousei, whose life takes a turn after the death of his mother, who can no longer play the piano.

22. Log Horizon

What makes Log Horizon stand out from other anime with similar themes (i.e., SAO and Accel World) is that it is much more mature, it focuses on history, looks at events from a strategic point of view, shows us what it happens behind the curtains, that is, the political side of the whole thing.

23. Mirai Nikki (TV)

“Mirai Nikki”, also known as “Future Diary”, is a 2010 Japanese anime short film and this was the basis of a television series that followed shortly after. It is in the Japanese language, so you may need subtitles if you do not choose a dubbed version. The title already reveals that it is a newspaper that predicts the future.

24. Death Note

Deat note is a great anime. This is Light Turner, a brilliant student, who stumbles upon a mystical notebook that has the power to kill anyone whose name he writes on it. Light decides to launch themselves a secret crusade to rid the streets with full of criminals. Watch it to know more about this anime.

25. Ao no Exorcist

For all demon fans, exorcism and action, this should be on your mandatory watch list. This series begins with quite interesting with decent fights, demons, magic and a basic plot … but towards the midpoint it slows down with limited fights and many internal fights between the main characters with an ending to be desired.

26. Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo!

A fun fantasy and anime comedy. This is the kind of anime in which you should not worry about the real story and concentrate more on the daily life of a band of misfits who work together to overcome all obstacles.

27. Mob Psycho 100

Absolutely incredible fighting scenes, very similar to One Punch Man. Impressive story as it unfolds in a world of psychics. The action scenes were top notch, had a LOT of comedy.

28. Belcebú

Beelzebub is a story about a demon baby who has to go to earth to master his demonic abilities. With the help of a teenager named Oga Tatsumi, Beelzebub must learn to be a demon lord. To know more see it.

29. Hai to Gensou no Grimgar

Growth is always something you will feel defines a good series. See someone overcome a difficulty, see him realize the potential in himself; These are the things that differentiate the series in which I lose interest compared to those that keep me hooked.

30. Toradora !

This is a unique story about love and friendship, how those can also conflict with each other and the results of valuing one over the other. It is also about self-discovery and acceptance of oneself, it will make you laugh and cry. Must look

31. DanMachi

This anime has a pretty funky name, although this is pretty good. This series is a bit reminiscent of SAO, but it has its own unique style. There is a lot that I like about this show. He has humor, action, a good plot, interesting characters and great animation. To know the concept, you have to see it

32. Steins ; Gate

If you are looking for an amazing anime, this is your call. You enter from the first episode of this masterpiece. A perfect combination of comedy, romance, suspense and much more. Also remember to watch the special episode.

33. Overlord

With the main character following a less than perfect moral compass, the anime brings rawness and practicality to the cast’s actions as they solve the challenges they face. The animation of this series is very good and impeccable. The artwork is very colorful and each of the character designs is very well. The concept of creating a non-human for the main character is also a cool scene from time to time.

34. Grisaia no Kajitsu

As it shows, this one is quite dark. While the overall tone is quite light, many darker elements run below the surface and the story often stops in those directions. A really good watch if yours is anguish, violence and some ecchi. A important and main part of the show is comes from the colourful cast of its characters.

There is a main guy (Yuuji) who is not the typical protagonist of the harem. He is very independent and is able to remain calm in almost any situation.

In fact, it treats almost all situations intuitively and has good judgment and control. In short, Yuuji is the type of person who thinks before acting.

35. Berserk (2016)

Nice crazy series with incredible action. This program continues the story of Berserk and is definitely for people who have seen the original 1997 animated series. It is dark, bleak and surprisingly fun for a dystopian tale.

36. ReLIFE

Well, the title says it all. A simple but powerful premise along with a well written plot but not too complicated. A good watch for someone who likes an easy drama show focused on high school without the need for tissues.

About anime: falls into the category of comedy and life.

37. Fate / stay night

Fate / Stay Night is an animated series inspired by a game h. It has a great story, interesting characters and some of the best animations I’ve seen. It also has good Japanese music!

38. Ajin

The concept behind this series is interesting and entertaining, and to some extent it reaches its potential. The concepts with which the characters fight are interesting and attractive, and the plot progression is well developed. Virtually everything about production, apart from dialogue, is excellent.

39. rainbow

Rainbow is one of the best children’s shows of all time, always had something new every week and helped children learn about life and have fun at the same time. In fact, it was as fun for adults as it was for little ones. Rainbow is a fantastic story driven by characters that tells the lives of seven inmates who became best friends. The show is not for the faint of heart, but you can try it, you will be surprised how much you love it

40. Clannad

Based on the visual novel of the same name, ‘Clannad’ tells the story of Tomoya Okazaki, a former basketball player who was forced to leave his school team and all basketball, and who is now living aimlessly. Clannad was an anime that didn’t know what he wanted to be. He tried to be a drama, a romance, a part of life and a comedy, all at the same time, and he ended up being speechless.

41. other

This Anime is highly recommended because, most Anime simply doesn’t give you the feeling of investment in these characters. The characters are drawn consistently and the backgrounds are lush with details. The few action sequences of the show are animated smoothly. Dark artistic images, such as fixing the show on the dolls, adapt well to the mysterious tone.

42. One outs

It is not a simple entertainment job, it is an entertaining anime that orders you to think. Each and every character has their own unique personality, of course, Tokuchi is the smartest man both on and off the baseball field. This show never gets boring. You know Tokuchi is always going to win, but it doesn’t matter, because seeing him in action is too incredible.

43. Bakuman

This is one of the best anime that exists. This anime explains a lot about being a mangakka, a seiyuu and also guides you through the whole process. It is an incredible anime, a must for anyone who wants to know what the manga world is like. The true meaning of the title was never revealed, but most speculators believe it is the abbreviation for ‘Bakuchi Manga’. (Gambling Manga). It’s a simple story of two high school boys who set out to become professional manga artists.

44. Barakamon

Pleasant for everyone, from children to jaded adults, Barakamon intertwines smoothly TONS of issues. The animation is quite good and the characters are extremely nice. You must watch this to see the story of this anime. Watching Barakamon was like going to a birthday party or an outdoor picnic with friends, full of excited children running all over the place, doing what they do best. Barakamon is a work of art. However, it is more than just a Graphology, since only alone words cannot describe the exact nature and discovery of Barakamon. For example, the show takes place on an island that involves a young man named Seishuu Handa.

45. My Teenage Romantic Comedy: SNAFU

This was a fun anime with good depths of the dark side / antihero perspective, entertaining comedy with some dark depths. I highly recommend this to those of you who are constantly in doubt and hitting yourself, this will be one of your favorites! Honestly, it is one of the most contradictory and unique anime.

46. 91 days

This series had a very dark story and how the main character continues to take revenge on the family that kills his family. Very high tension at certain points and really shows a lot of manipulation within the characters to get what they need. You see the difficulties and you always wonder what he will do next.

47. Kokoro Connect

This anime series follows by five high school students, all are the members of Cultural Research Club in this series. They don’t really do any cultural research; they simply formed the club because for one reason or another they did not want to join any of the other clubs. If you know more about this anime, you can watch it.

48. The devil is part time!

All he does is bring some very animated action scenes and lots of humor. Beautiful and touching story to see. This comic but emotional anime series is very nice to watch. The spectacle of the part of life together with a touch of supernatural beings leaves a pleasant and charming experience for the spectators.

49. High School of the Dead

Although ecchi is the main focus in this anime, the story itself is well made; more than you could expect to be. The show is completely exaggerated as expected; full of young women with little clothes, tons of f bombs, an exorbitant amount of blood, dismemberment. All the characters are very well developed and the story is very well written and if you want to see more, the music sounds in the right mood. To know more, just look at it J

50. Btooom !

If you like anime series that constantly keep you to the limit and you have a sense of realism and plausibility throughout the story or ‘world’ that has been created, then this is for you. The story is that many people, including the protagonist, are on a desert island where they are forced to play an exact real-life version of a popular online game. It was interesting enough to hook you and anticipate you for each next episode. You should look to know more about Btooom!

Final words

Black Butler and Code Geass are a couple more Indian anime characters worth noting. Yet one thing you can find even after naming so many Indian characters:

Very few anime shows showcase anything about India or Indian culture. While India and Japan share the same continent. This is due to contemporary cultural interaction between these two nations which is weak.

There’s a good chance when you see an anime that it has American or British characters or even European characters. Western culture’s presence in Japan, after all, is important. But India could have a big influence on anime in the future with the rise, progress, and technology lately. And also adding fantastic films, storylines and anime show to the animation industry.

Who is your favorite Indian Anime character?
